HAPPY NEW SHIRT! (and year..)

This is a nice start to 2011 for me. My latest Threadless design is up and for sale. I got the chance to do this after having secured 4 prints (over almost 7 years I might add) at Threadless. Nice to do a design I wanted to produce, and unlimited colours and size, etc etc. Check it out today.

Check it out. I have won the MAMBO GLOBAL ARTIST SEARCH, with my submission above. Yesterday I got to meet and greet the Mambo team in North Manly. What a great bunch of guys and gal, and such a cool office space. I was so stoked to see a lot of the old Reg Mombassa originals on the walls, as well as some other cool Mambo artists. Even more honoured to be introduced around as a 'mambo artist'.

RAINN WILSON PICKS ME!

Rainn Wilson, actor of the US 'The Office', 'Juno' and 'The Rocker', and author, has chosen my design to represent his new books promotional tour poster! Rainn ran a 24 hour comp on Threadless looking for a 're-design' of the cover of his new book, 'SOULPANCAKE'. I took some unused existing art, some provided-by-Rainn photography, and some handwritten typefaces and voila! I am very please with the result, honoured to have won, and look forward to reading the book.

THIS IS PERSONAL. Last night saw the opening of the Drawing Books first group. I am honoured to have a piece featured, and be surrounded by such great talent. It's on for the next week at the 72 Erskine and all pieces are prints in varied and limited edition. Check it out today! and thanks.

A project very close to my heart this one. I help start the Black Rock Collective quite a few years ago now, and this is our second project to go on sale. Following the success of the first deck, this deck is different in its limited palette, and uniformed values and suits. Check it out, and it'll be for sale here very, very soon.

Phoenix Foundation 'Buffalo' competition.

Wellington Band, The Phoenix Foundation, are about to release their new album, titled BUFFALO. In conjunction with this they are running a tee shirt, and tea towel, design comp, based on the word Buffalo.
